Cornerstone Christian Church

Sunday School

Every Sunday morning between 9:30-10:15am we gather to spend time with a group who is seeking to grow and learn to be more like Christ through our foundational curriculum. Our adult Sunday School classes are multi-generational to include adults and youth/teens. We share our burdens, celebrate victories, offer support, and partner together to reach others in our lives with the gospel.

Preschool and Elementary classes are held simultaneously in their respective classrooms. The Hispanic ministry class is also held at this time.

PRESCHOOL & ELEMENTARY CLASSES:

We place a major emphasis on our children!  While the nursery is available during Sunday School and all Sunday morning events, our goal for children, from Preschool-5th grade, is to offer appropriate Sunday School classes with curriculum and a nurturing environment as they learn about God so that they may be able to receive Jesus Christ as their savior. The world is a dark place and we work hard to give them the best biblical foundation and interesting lessons enriched with multimedia material.

After Sunday School class, they reconnect with their families to worship together in the regular Sunday service where they can enjoy the opportunity to worship and partake in offering and communion as a family.

After the offering meditation and sharing Communion in the service, children 5th grade and down are dismissed from the Sanctuary to learn a lesson suitable for their age. Children’s classes are all located past the Coffee Bar, by the restrooms.

Summer offers a Vacation Bible School experience that is a fun and fulfilling for our children and families.

Parents are asked to pick up their children from their classrooms after the service is over.

YOUTH CLASSES:

At Cornerstone Christian Church, our post-elementary students are learning about and developing deepening relationships with their Creator and Savior through multigenerational Sunday School classes as teens are encouraged to choose from one of the Sunday School Bible study lessons, just as their parents and elders do. They then attend and experience the church service worship and sermons.

We also have Youth Sunday which encourages and incorporates our young people in Sunday services where they are learning how to share their faith through leadership and witness.  Other events and activities are held throughout the year that involve the youth and their abilities, including helping with Vacation Bible School and special seminars for learning life-navigating opportunities.
